Plot Overview:
Unstable tells the story of Ellis Dragon, a biotech genius portrayed by Rob Lowe, and his socially awkward son, Jackson, played by John Owen Lowe. In the first season, Jackson returned home to help his emotionally struggling father after the death of his mother. The season ended with a bang as Ellis made a last-minute tech breakthrough to avoid being kicked off his company’s board and instead ousted his rival, Jean (Christina Chang), culminating in her car being blown up.
Season 2 continues from this dramatic ending. Ellis is seen behind bars, preparing for what seems like an inevitable prison sentence. Meanwhile, he challenges Jackson with various tasks and mind games to see if he can take over the Dragon empire.
